Who is responsible

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as none of the circumstances listed in Article 37 GDPR applies. For any question about your data, please write to the email address above.

What data we use and why

This website has no forms and no user accounts. We only receive personal data when you write to us by WhatsApp, email or Facebook: normally your name, your phone number or address and what you tell us in the message.

We use it to answer you, to tell you about groups, timetables and availability and, if you join, to organise your classes. The legal basis is your own request and the steps before enrolling (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR). We do not use it for anything else and we do not sell it.

We keep conversations while you are asking about classes or attending them, and delete them when they are no longer needed, except where the law requires us to keep something for longer, for example invoices.

Who else is involved

Our hosting provider, SiteGround, keeps technical server logs (IP address, page requested, date) for security, for a short period.

WhatsApp and Facebook are services of Meta. If you contact us there, Meta processes the conversation under its own policies.

The map on the home page is loaded from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address to show it.

Google Ireland Ltd provides the advertising tag described below. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

The website loads the Google Ads tag with consent denied by default. Until you press «Accept», it stores no cookies on your device and only sends Google anonymous signals without identifiers, so that the ad account can estimate how many visits come from its ads.

If you accept, the tag may store Google Ads cookies such as _gcl_au and _gcl_aw, for up to 90 days, to measure whether someone who clicked an ad later writes to us on WhatsApp. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR and Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI).

We also save your choice in your browser (localStorage) so that we do not ask again. You can change it at any time with the «Cookie settings» link at the foot of every page, or by clearing your browser's data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, restrict it or receive a copy, by writing to info.easyspanishtoday@gmail.com. If you think we have not handled it properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
